Yard Debris

Yard debris consists of things that grow in your yard such as grass clippings, leaves, twigs, weeds, etc.  NO DIRT OR ROCKS.  Grass, shrubs, small limbs, and leaves should be bagged in paper bags, which can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowe’s, or the supermarket, which can  in turn be recycled as mulch ( plastic bags will also be acceptable).  The weight limit on each bag is thirty (30) pounds.

Small limbs should be bundled and tied.  Limbs should be no larger than 2 inches in diameter and cut into three (3) foot lengths.  Bundles should be no larger than eighteen (18) inches in diameter and should be tied with strong string.

PLACE ONE STICKER ON EACH BAG OR BUNDLE.

Stickers are sold for $1.50 each and are sold in quantities of twenty (20).  Please call the office at 864-269-1065 and the stickers will be mailed to you and your account will be billed.  Dirt and rocks are considered a special pickup due to the weight, and the manner that the landfill handles them.  If you have dirt, rocks, bricks, or large tree limbs that you want us to pick up, please call the office.

***Please do not place trash-example:  bottles, cans, flowerpots, paper, plastic bags, cement, bags, etc. into your yard debris.  These items should be placed in your garbage can.  Please do not place animal waste or cat litter into your yard debris can. ***

Thank You for your cooperation…
